Day 5

Hi everyone. Hope you are well

Yesterday I almost had a melt down.
Everything was going well, I woke up at 3 to eat, had my food, felt great and went back to sleep. Woke up without an alarm at 7 and just laid in bed for a while. Got up at 8 and did some stuff about the house. At 10 I was taking a group of boys from school on a D of E walk, about 12km in the lovely sunshine. One of the boys is Muslim and was fasting. I’d prepared emergency water and food in case we needed it but that wasn’t the plan. I also took baby wipes to wet our skin with in the hope that we didn’t sweat too much.
Anyway it was a good walk and we only got a little lost!
I got home for about half 2 and had a shower, did some school work and watched TV.
Now this whole time I hadn’t really felt hungry, I mean if you’d given me food I could have eaten it but I didn’t feel hungry. At about 4ish my desire for a drink got greater and I tried to distract myself. By 7 I was almost in tears. I managed to wait until 9:10 and had the biggest drink ever.
I then decided to have food and managed to eat too much and give myself a stomach ache.
If you would have said to me yesterday I could have a drink if I didn’t eat for an extra 2 hours I would have done it. It’s the bit I find hardest, but I guess that’s the point

Tonight I went to the cinema (to watch deadpool) to distract myself in the last 2 hours. I’d set a silent alarm on my watch and taken my water bottle in, so at the appropriate time I drank almost a litre of water.
After the film I drove home and then wasn’t bothered if I ate or not. In fact I baked for my yr 10’s who won a competition in class today before bothering to get myself anything, I wonder if anyone else feels that way.

Anyway. I figured out that I find it pretty easy with the expectation of 4 times, at about half 8, half 11 and somewhere between 5 and 6 I feel hungry and from 6 onwards I just want to drink, other than that I don’t find it too hard.
Went to PT tonight, that was difficult with the heat but I managed and maybe took a few more rest breaks than usual
